2008 July update
- 26" rear wheel option available for Trice Q and T
From September 2008 the Trice Q, QNT, T & T NT will all be available to order with a 26" non suspended rear frame. The fixed rear frame does not have the simple folding of the 20" suspension version but does have a big smooth running 26" rear wheel (with clearance available to fit a 700c wheel)
The 26" option is also better for those on a tighter budget as the basic trike is a significantly lower price and also if a rear rack is required then the 26" model uses a lower cost standard rack.
2008
ICE Product Update
- The big change for 2008 is moving to a wide range gear setup with high end derailleur components. The derailleur range is unique on production trikes with all derailleur systems having a very low bottom gear whilst maintaining a superb top gear. This has been achieved by producing our own custom rear hub (Capreo compatible) with rear disc brake mount and fitting a custom ultra wide range cassette. This has been matched to a slick-shifting standard front chain-set resulting in a simple and efficient derailleur drive train.
- We have even sourced custom handle bar grips with a low friction surface to get the best from the top spec SRAM X9 twist shifters.
- M5 Bottle bosses on front boom for improved front light mount fitting.
