Full Wrap Rear Mudguard, Quick Release For Folding -for 20 inch suspension models
For those who would like to prevent spray from the rear wheel getting onto other riders following close behind we offer this full wrap mudguard. This mudguard is also quick release and does not limit the folding function. It has been designed to allow the use of the optional rear disc brake and is adjustable for up to 50mm tyres. It is also compatible with a Rohloff hub if one is fitted.

Note:- If the optional rear carrier is used with this mudguard then the carrier mudguard profile must be removed.

Trice Rear Carrier (optional) - for 20 inch suspension models
6061 T6 Alloy rear carrier with quick release mounting kit. This carrier is made to our design and has some great features making it a highly practical addition to your trike. It is designed to work with the standard Trice folding rear suspension and so is cantilever mounted with two QUICK RELEASE levers making it easy to remove before folding or just easy to fit or leave off for any journey (keeping weight to a minimum at all times).
The carrier sides allow the bags to be mounted low down and keep them clear of the rear swing arm. The top surface of the carrier is wide providing a stable platform and the rear face has multiple mounting options for fixing up to 3 rear lights.
The carrier is supplied with a Green (harder) Elastomer for the rear suspension which will be appropriate for most people when the carrier is heavily loaded.

Please note that the Trice comes with a rear reflector mounting for the seat rails which can alternatively be used for fixing a rear light. If the optional neck rest is fitted then this also comes with a mounting point for a "seat post" fixing rear light.

Max recommended carrier load 25Kg.

Simple and light and robust alloy rear carrier for the 26" Trice models. Takes 2 large panniers and has rear tab for mounting a back light.

Radical Allfa Side Panniers S (Hard shell seat only)
A pair of top quality 2 x 20 Ltr bags form an excellent shape behind the riders profile minimising drag. In our tests, it takes considerably more bubble wrap to fill these than a pair of large 2 x 25Ltr panniers!

These bags also allow higher load capacity with the rear suspension as some of the load is supported by the seat instead of it all being on the cantilevered rack if conventional panniers were to be used.

Can be used on the hard shell seat option without a rear carrier.

Side "Handle Bar Bag" Mount
Side "handle bar bag" mount to fit handlebar bag along side seat. Can be mounted on either side of the trike. Works with all mesh seat models. Very useful for accessing items without getting off the trike. Max recommended load 8lbs (3.6Kg). Also consider the Radical side Pods which provide more capacity and are much lighter weight than side bag mount and handlebar bag.

Adjustable Neck Rest
Fully adjustable for height and angle, removable padded cover. Very comfortable going up hills especially when the trike is set to a more reclined seat angle. Also a nice feature when relaxing at a standstill. Included with the neck rest is a light mount which provides a good place high up on the trike for fixing a "Seat Post" style light. (Light not included).

Mirror Mount
ICE custom made mirror mount to fit onto the handle bars below the brake levers.
Ideal for the mirror if the hole in the top of the handle bar normally used is occupied by another item. As supplied with the bar end shifter option.
Double clamp bolts for easy fitting.

Bar End gear shifter alternative
This option (costs extra) comes with a set of Shimano Dura Ace bar end shifters which are exchanged from the excellent and lighter SRAM X9 twist type shifters normally supplied. The conversion comes complete with longer gear cable outer casing and inline adjusters, handlebar grips and a mirror mount which is required because the position at the top of the bars cannot be used.

Please note that these shifters are not compatible with our standard SRAM X9 rear derailleur and so if ordered with a trike then the package will include an alternative Shimano XT rear derailleur exchanged from the SRAM X9.

Additional quick release kit for enhanced tool less folding / split down
The standard Trice models can all be folded and split down into a small package (click here for more information). The rear wheel, seat, carrier (if fitted) and rear mudguard can all be removed and the rear frame folded under without tools. If you wish to make the trike smaller then you can also remove the front mudguards (if fitted), the front wheels, slide the front boom in and fold the handle bars down flat all with simple tools. However, if you would like to make all of the these adjustments WITHOUT ANY TOOLS then you will certainly need our additional quick release kit which consists of the following:-

• QR front wheel axles
• QR mudguard clamps
• QR front boom clamps
• QR handle bar clamps

Short crank chain set option
For shorter riders we can supply an upgrade front chainset with 152mm cranks in place of the more standard 170mm. These cranks come with alloy CNC machined 22/32/44 tooth chain rings on a 64/104 - 4 arm spider. The rings are smaller than those used on the standard chain set we use and hence give a more appropriate lower gear spread.
Short cranks give greatly improved comfort for shorter riders and are recommended for those under approximately 5'4". They are essential for riders under approximately 5'2" to give comfort and proper fit on the trike.

Chain Ring Guard
Designed by ICE for the Trice standard models this optional chain ring guard is a light weight and durable unit made from heat treated Al Alloy. The guard is an added safety feature but is also very good in preventing you from accidentally brushing against the oily chain rings and avoiding the recumbent rider tell tale prints on your legs or trousers.

The 2008 guard is fitted without removing the chain set by clamping the guard to the bottom bracket shell. A chain ring of up to 58T can be used.

FF Bracket for short riders
FF - moves front seat mount forward for very short legged riders. Short riders on the Q who use this bracket and would like to be more upright would also need the TT bracket. For more information see Seat Type page.

FB Bracket for tall riders
FB - moves front seat mount backwards for very long legged riders. Note that using this bracket with the hard shell seat will reduce the maximum recline available. For more information see Seat Type page.

TT Bracket for improved off road traction on Trice Q - for 20 inch suspension only
Use the TT bracket on the 2007+ Trice Q or QNT in conjunction with FB to improve rear wheel traction and weight distribution for OFF ROAD riding (not a recommended combination for short riders - also not compatible with pre 2007 Q, S or T). If this combination is fitted then the rear rack does not fit. For more information see Seat Type page.

Rear Disc Parking Brake upgrade kit
Complete kit to allow the addition of a rear parking brake. (All Trice come with front parking brakes using straps on the brake levers) Includes a mechanical disc brake and rotor, parking brake lever for fitting on the handle bar and a cable. The rear hub is disc brake compatible and ready to take the rotor supplied in the kit.

This brake is only intended to be used as a superior parking brake. We do not recommend it's use in normal riding as a general brake. Can be used with caution as a drag brake on VERY long descents but attention must be paid to heat build up in extreme cases. Please see here for more information.

Cateye Strada cordless computer
Very small and neat unit but still with a large screen.
Comes with a neat mounting system that allows the sensor to be directly fitted to the king post arm (only on drum brake trikes, for disc brake trikes also order sensor mount) and the computer head unit to be fitted to the mirror arm as supplied with the trike. In this configuration the computer is in the ideal position to be easily operated by a press with your thumb. No fiddly buttons, just press the top and the whole unit rocks to operate the switch.

Cateye HL600RC Rechargeable
New for winter 07, a useful focused beam pattern from a 1 watt LED, high and low settings, in comparison this light is smaller and lighter and has a better spread on the road than the EL530, 2 hr run time on high beam with built in batteries and charger supplied. 5 hr charge time from smart charger.

Cateye HL EL530 SUPER BRIGHT POWER OPTICUBE (10hrs + 40hrs backup)
The EL-530 has an output in excess of 1500 candlepower!! It uses one massive LED within Cateye's patented opticube technology to provide an intense beam of light for up to 10 hours, with an additional 40 hours back-up. Spare Elastomers
The 20 inch suspension Trice come with a Medium RED elastomer which suits a wide range of body weights and uses.

Riders who are heavier or those who wish to set the trike up with a heavy touring load should order an additional GREEN elastomer. Please note that the GREEN elastomer is supplied and included in the price with the rear carrier for use with heavy loads.

Riders who are lighter should order an additional YELLOW elastomer.

Upgrade kit for pre 2006 Trice Q, S or T to convert to 20" rear suspension / folding
If you have a pre 2006 Q, S or T without rear suspension then we offer an upgrade kit for you to convert your trike giving the smoother ride of the rear suspension, simple folding, quick seat angle adjust and big tyre clearance.

The Kit consists of :-

Please note:-

• If you wish to run a rear carrier then you will need our QR carrier.
• If you wish to run a tyre bigger than 2" or 50mm tyre then you will also need a new rear wheel built non dished (or un-dish your existing wheel).
• If you wish to fit a rear disc brake then you will need a new wheel or wheel rebuild with a disc brake compatible rear hub.

Trike Bag
With this bag you can fold and separate your trike into a smaller package and keep all the parts tidy. Ideal for neat transport inside a car or on public transport. When you are not using the bag it rolls up into its own carry sack which you could even stow in a pannier or on a rack. well constructed and originally made for Dahon folding bikes.

NOTES
A Trice T with typical accessories will weigh up to approx 46lbs (21Kg) in the bag and so we do not recommend manually carrying the trike any distance in this way. It is also still quite a large package so please take note of the dimensions shown above.
The bag does not have padding and the parts are not separated inside and so you may wish to add your own extra protection. We would also not recommend sending your trike through an airport handling system with this bag.

To put trike in bag, remove rack, front mudguards and rear mudguard (if fitted), remove seat, front wheels and pull out front boom (do not disconnect chain or front derailleur). Fold rear section under and place all parts in the bag.

Many other standard cycle bags will work with a Trice because the Trike can be split into a number of parts giving plenty of options and also standard cycle bags are actually quite large. Standard cycle bags are available from many sources with and without padding to suite your individual requirements.

Borealis - Trice Q NT Velomobile - 20 inch QNT only
Currently in the final stage of development this stunning looking velomobile conversion kit will soon be available to transform your Trice QNT into a fully fledged velomobile. The ICE customised machine shown here will be on show for the first time at Spezi in Germany on April 26/27.

The super glossy shell and all special velomobile parts are manufactured by Kayak specialists Rainforest Designs Ltd in Canada. Steve Schleicher, the owner has spent many years developing velomobiles as a side line to his main business as you can see from his log pages

The kit can be added to and removed from a standard 2006 onwards 20" Trice QNT without any modifications to the basic QNT. The QNT drive train becomes all enclosed and body has good storage space.
Getting in and out is easy with the wide opening hinged top and there is no need to step on the seat or frame inside. Foot cutouts in the floor give heel clearance and allow reversing. A lighting system and traffic indicators will be available.
