Drawn and Tempered with a tensile strength
of 45 to 58 tons per square inch (700n/mm
sq - 900n/mm sq).
T45 can be welded as supplied with little
or no loss of strength.
T45 can be bent as supplied because it has
a typical elongation of 20% on a 50mm gauge
length.
