I
This is just a quick email to thank you for bringing excitement back into our cycling lives. My husband Michael and I have been cycling for 20 years but never has he got up on a very cold winter's morning and foregone his beloved rugby match at Headingley and suggested going out on a quick bike ride! He is truly in love with Bert (his narrow track Ice Q) and I must say my love affair with Pickle (my lovely little Ice L, sadly no longer made) will go on and on. We have mastered the odd 1:5 Yorkshire hill and experienced the thrill of going round corners without even thinking about applying the brakes. My upright Trike used to tip me off regularly at the mere thought of a quick left turn!
We hope to conquer Southern France next summer.
If you are wondering about the naming of our machines it is quite simple: I couldn't afford a Pixie so I had to pick 'L' and one of our friends asked us how we were getting on with our recumBERTs. Daft I know but that is what all this fresh air whizzing down hills does for you.
Many thanks again.
