Hi Neil, Chris and co,
Just to say that the Q has arrived safe and sound. I've managed to put it all
together without too many problems (amazing considering my lack of technical
ability) and it has had it's first (very short) test ride today. First
impressions? Whoa! Wow! Weeeeee!
Well, you get the idea. A little bit of tweaking on the gears, brakes and
length, and this looks like it is going to be a wonderful machine to ride. But
then I guess you already know that? :-)
Oh, and the workmanship is first class, the attention to detail is amazing,
right down to the packaging. Overall, I am extremely impressed. This is actually
the third most expensive item I've ever bought (after my house and three weeks
for my girlfriend and I in Peru), so I may need quite a lot of convincing about
it's worth... but judging by the smile on my face today, it's getting there. I
just need to buy a house with bigger doors, or a new shed in which to store it.
Can you make one exactly the same, but folds up in to the size of a sheet of A3
paper? ;-)
Anyway, many thanks for the trike and thanks especially to Chris, plus his mum
and dad, whose efforts at the York Rally this year inspired me (no pun intended)
to take the plunge.
Regards
Ian
