The
Trice XL Please note:- Due to high demand for the Trice standard models we are currently unable to take orders for custom trikes.
All of the Trice models
have good handling characteristics but the
XL is superb and really must be experienced.
The XL is super-stable because of its relatively
low seat height and the result is a Trice,
which is fast in a straight line and exhilarating
through the corners. It is probably best
described as a fast tourer, though it also
makes a great distance-commuting machine.
At the heart of the XL's
great handling is ICE's unique steering
geometry, which not only eliminates bump
steer but also eliminates brake steer. We
believe this steering geometry makes Trice
recumbents the safest and easiest handling
trikes on the market. The ergonomics of
the lightweight fabric seat, which it shares
with many other Trice gives full shoulder
and lumbar support. With the optional neck
rest this is a very comfortable seat. Add
rear suspension and the machine is even
more comfortable.
The XL is available in
standard or narrow track widths The Narrow
Track (NT) width option is popular on the
XL, trading some of the stability for practicality.
A beautifully hand-made frame and a choice
of component set-ups complete the package.
