The Expedition has greater ground clearance, higher seats and can carry more luggage than the X2 for that "Grand Tour". The Expedition can carry up to four panniers behind the stoker and each of you can have one or even two handle bar bags alongside your seat. This machine is fitted with mesh fabric seats which have been fitted to Trice for many years because of the day long comfort they provide due to their ability to mould to your individual body shape.

Luggage capacity is often a problem on any tandem used for an extended tour particularly if you are camping. Our recommendation is to tow a trailer. OK so it makes a long vehicle even longer, but you won't know it is there when you are riding and they are more convenient to pack and unpack.

The Stoker's seat is 1.5 ins. higher than the Captain's to improve the view. As with the X2 the Stoker has control of one of the two rear brakes to help guard against over-exuberance from the Captain! The handling is light and precise and the turning circle is smaller than you would think.

Trice tandems can be carried on a car roof rack or trailer. If you are going further afield, both tandems can be split in half in a couple of minutes or fully dismantled into small manageable sections for easy packing.
