The best recumbent specific rain jacket ever made - designed by recumbent riders (us at ICE), made in the UK by outdoor gear experts Freestyle. ICE are based in Cornwall, one of the wettest places in England so we know what it's like to ride in the rain all too well! It's also a mild climate and very hilly; once you zip up, this jacket breathes well, made from GORE-TEX® XCR® 3-layer fabric .

Take a look at the specific recumbent features built into this jacket which make it practical and comfortable even when it does actually stop raining:-

• Waterproof GORE-TEX® XCR® 3-layer fabric with fully taped seams.
• Full length zip opening - allowing easy on and off (rather than struggling with "pull over" style necessitating helmet removal).
• Zip offset to the right to prevent rain puddles collecting and coming through the zip. Storm flap zip cover with velcro hold down sheds water away from zip.
• Lower hem toggle to seal out cold and rain.
• Top of zip set to the right at the neck to prevent rubbing under the chin when riding in the recumbent position.
• Neck opening folds down and can be secured on Velcro tab for improved ventilation and to prevent flapping of fabric.
• Neck elasticated locking toggle allows sealing at the neck in heavy rain and the toggle is set at the left side so that it does not interfere with a neck rest on a recumbent.
• Neck lining of soft fabric for comfort.
• Large opening zips at the armpits plus rain flaps - allows improved ventilation.
• Arm cuffs have Velcro tape fastening and are not elasticated so that when open, air can circulate up the arms or when closed, rain and cold are kept out.
• Arms are cut long to prevent riding up and soggy shirt cuffs.
• Low cut back helps keep the water out when you sit on a wet seat.
• No seams on the back for best recumbent comfort.
• Large inside zip opening chest pocket - the most comfortable and easily accessed place for a pocket on a recumbent also no chance of items falling out in the recumbent position.
• Bright day glow fabric on the arm backs and sides - just the right place for others to clearly see you on a recumbent. Bright arm backs are also highly visible when arm signaling a turn.
• Nighttime wide reflective tape on the arms visible from the side and the rear especially when arm signaling.

Well suited to a recumbent trike or bike and with the following features:-

• Waterproof GORE-TEX® XCR® 3-layer fabric with fully taped seams.
• Long waterproof zip from ankle to knee with a wide opening allowing you to put them on without removing your shoes.
• Pre shaped knee for better fit when cycling
• Scotchlite reflective strip from knee to ankle visible from the side when cycling.
• No pockets at the rear
• Elasticated shock cord waist

Front Fairing
Front fairing including fitting kit. When ordered with a custom Trice, ICE carry out a series of modifications to the fairing and add braze ons on the front boom to allow fitting the Streamer faring without the need for large hose clips. If you think you might like to have a fairing one day it is a good idea to have the braze on mounts put on when your custom Trice is built. Faring braze on mounts are not available on the Trice standard models.

The Streamer can be ordered and fitted to any Trice using the standard fitting kit which gives a less neat appearance and uses hose clamps around the frame.

Radical Allfa Side Panniers S
A pair of top quality 2 x 20 Ltr bags which are light weight and need minimal racking to support them as the seat is used for the forward straps. The bags form an excellent shape behind the riders profile minimising drag. In our tests, it takes considerably more bubble wrap to fill these than a pair of large 2 x 25Ltr panniers!

These bags also allow higher load capacity on trikes with the rear suspension option fitted as some of the load is supported by the seat instead of it all being on the cantilevered rack if conventional panniers were to be used.

Fits only on the following trikes with or without carriers where noted. Cannot be used with rear handle bar bag mount or additional custom touring rack. Also prevents use of the standard seat mounted bottle cages on hard shell seat models.
